Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of software, websites, newsletters, handbooks, and other services or products including events ("Services") provided, operated, or organised by Sounds good agency, s. r. o., Registration No.: 07547455, Registered office: Cyrilská 508/7, Brno 60200, Czech Republic ("Sounds Good Agency" or "we").

When you register for our Services, or when you or your employer use them, when you apply for a job with us, or when you supply services to us, we process your personal data in accordance with the following rules:

(1) What personal data do we process?

We process your email address and other information you provide when registering for our Services (for example when subscribing to our newsletter, signing up for a webinar, testing a new service, or ordering an e-shop from us), when using our Services, when applying for a job with us, or information relating to our collaboration when you supply services to us.

(2) Who processes your data?

Sounds Good Agency as controller, and persons who supply us with various services as processors. You may contact us at our registered office address or by email at info@soundsgood.cz.

(3) Why do we process your data?

(A) To provide the Services you have ordered. For example, if you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you news about us, our Services, our partners and their services. Such processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.

(B) To provide the Services ordered by your employer. For example, if you communicate with us on behalf of your employer, we will process your contact details. This is our legitimate interest.

(C) To promote and improve our Services. If you use our Services — for example if you sign up for one of our events — we may from time to time inform you about updates relating to that event or similar Services. This applies even if you have not subscribed to our newsletter, though you may unsubscribe at any time. If you attend our event, we may use your photograph taken at the event for promotional purposes. Promoting and improving our Services is our legitimate interest.

(D) To protect our rights. For example, if you grant us a licence to your contribution, we need to retain your identification details. This is our legitimate interest.

(E) To discuss employment with you.

(F) To fulfil our legal obligations. For example, if you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we will retain that information to ensure we do not send you unwanted messages in the future.

(G) To perform and draw on the contract for your supply of services to us. This is both performance of a contract and our legitimate interest.

(4) How long do we retain your data?

For purpose (A): until you unsubscribe from our newsletter or other Service, or cease using that Service.

For purpose (B): until your employer unsubscribes from our newsletter or other Service, ceases using it, or until we learn that you no longer work for the employer using our Services.

For purpose (C): for as long as our legitimate interest persists, or until you legitimately object to such processing.

For purpose (D): for as long as our legitimate interest persists, or until you legitimately object, but no longer than 5 years from your last communication with us or from the termination of our contract.

For purpose (E): for as long as we are discussing your employment with us, but no longer than 6 months from your last communication with us.

For purpose (F): for as long as the legal obligation exists.

For purpose (G): for as long as you are supplying services or goods to us.

(5) Where do we process your data?

Within the EU. If we transfer data outside the EU, their protection will be ensured by standard contractual clauses or under the Privacy Shield framework — further information is available on the European Commission's website.

(6) Your rights

Data protection legislation grants you various rights: to the extent guaranteed by applicable data protection law — in particular the GDPR — you may request access to your personal data (i.e. information about which of your data we process and how we process it), restriction of processing (meaning we will not delete the data but will temporarily stop processing it), correction, and erasure (where the legal conditions are met). You may also object to processing and exercise your right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above — the easiest way is to email us at info@soundsgood.cz and we will be happy to help. If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic: www.uoou.cz).

Objecting to processing: If you do not wish us to use your data for sending newsletters, you may object. The easiest way is to use the unsubscribe link in each newsletter; alternatively you may send us your objection by email or letter, and where technically possible, at the point of registration. If you object, we will stop sending you newsletters. You may also object to other processing based on legitimate interests and we will restrict it unless we can demonstrate compelling, qualified legitimate grounds for the processing.
